DRIVER KILLED.
Express and Goods Train in
Collision.
NO PASSENGERS INJURED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, June 18. A locomotive driver was killed and another driver and guard injured, one seriously, when an early morning passenger express from Sheffield to Bristol ran into the rear of a goods train between Wingfield and Ambcrgate, 14 miles from Derby. The express was being drawn by two engines and both overturned, the driver of one being pinned underneath. No passengers were injured, although several coaches were torn from their bogies and the line ripped up for a considerable distance.
