FOOTBALL ACCIDENTS.

No serious injuries were suffered in football games on Saturday afternoon. Those cases which the St. John Ambulance did not remedy on the grounds were taken by them to the Auckland Hospital. Cecil Roy Bright, aged 21, of IS, Shaw Street, Mount Albert, suffered concussion while he was playing for the Ponsonby senior League team against Richmond at Carlaw park. A member of the College Rifles senior Ru~by te„u, Neil McDonald, aged 29, of 08 r Vauxhall Road, Devonport, suffered a fracture of the kneecap in the game against Grafton at Eden Park. Concussion was suffered by Edward James Lambert, aged 21, of 100 Nelson Street, City. He was playing for the Akarana third intermediate League team at Papakura. . . , . Three footballers were injured in games at Walker Park, Point Chevalier. They were E. Buck,.of Royal Road, Henderson, who had ribs broken while playin~ for a Point Chevalier League team; J c Cobbe, of 8, Parkhill Road, Morningside, concussion, while playing sixth grade Rugby for Suburbs; and J. K. Kin" of 4, Komaru Street, Remucra, minor in juries, while playing fourth crrade Rugby for Grammar Old Boys. All three were treated in the casualty ward at the hospital.
