SOVIET BUTTER.
Huge Consignments Sold on
British Market.
IDENTITY CONCEALED
LOXDO2ST, June 9.
A representative of the "Daily Express" who tried to track 3,250,0001b of Russian butter landed since the embargo came into force failed to find an ounce. He says he was told the butter was sold wholesale in London as Siberian and retail as blended or foreign. It would have been unsaleable at any price if it had been labelled Russian.
