A change welcomed by motorists was tho opening yesterday of Wright s deviation on the Auckland-Hamilton main highway, but attention is badly needed to portions of the highway between Mara mania and Goodwins Corner, where widening operations have been in progress. Tho condition of. tho road between tho two bridges at Waitakaruru is dangerous for motorists, the surface being pitted with potholes.
