Shrill notes' from the throats of '■ 7') canaries greeted visitor to Unity Hall this morning when the first annual show of the Norwich Plainhead Canary Club was opened. Entries, which included birds from Hamilton and Huntly, were .■satisfactory. The award of best bird in the show went to Mr. W. H. Henderson, o£ Glen ■\fton whose clear bufT bird was regarded by the judge, llr. B. G. Hart, as oue of the best of its type be had seen for a lona time.
