SAILS ON MONDAY.
FRENCH SLOOP'S VISIT.
. ~ JUSFJJELLING OPERATION. The top deck of the French sloop Savorgnan de Brazza was gay with flags this afternoon, when Commander J. Rosati held a- private tea party on board his ship., The sloop will be open to pub.lic inspection to-morrow afternoon between 1 o'clock and 5 o'clock. At 7 o'clock on Monday morning the sloop is to move from the Central wharf, where she has been berthed during her 12-day stay at Auckland, to the Western wharf, where she will replenish her supply of oil fuel. After the refuelling has been completed the sloop will sail for New Caledonia. The exact time of the warship's departure is unknown, but it is expected that she will depart some time between 10 a.m. and mid-day.
