CREW OP LARGS BAY REPORT.

LONDON, May 24.

The crew of the Largs Bay, which arrived at Southampton, report having seen a sea serpent off Aden during the voyage from Australia.

The sea serpent jumped partly out of the water, about a cable's length from the ship, aiyl eye-witnesses say they saw about 20 feet of the monster, which appeared like an elongated fish, and reared itself twice from the sea.

It had a bulging head, the circumference of which was greater than that of its body, while a long spike, or tongue, projected from its.snout.
