PANMURE HIGHWAY.
The Main Highways Board has agreed to subsidise the proposals of the Panmure Road Board for a single-seal coat of the section of highway through Panmure township. Under existing difficult financial conditions (reports our Wellington correspondent) the board is unable to consider the provision of a cement pavement, and it has approved the less expensive form of coating in order to mitigate the dust nuisance in the township.
