VOTE INCREASED
ROADING AND RECLAMATION. MINISTER'S ANNOUNCEMENT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Minister of Finance, Mr. Coates, questioned to-day concerning the allocations for road maintenance which are to be made for the current financial year, said he was unable to give this information at the moment, for the reason that the proposals are being first submitted to those directly concerned. However, the Minister was able to make public the fact that he lias approved increases in the road vote ® n , a ,'! reclamation rote. This will assist in assisting to rcl,c \°V ' ploy men t position by scope of permanent works undertaken by the Government.
