123-YEAR-OLD MAHARAJAH. (Received 10.30 a.m.) i - CALCUTTA, May 18. One of the most famous Indian religious leaders, the Maharajah Shyamdas Punjari, died at Dacca at the advanced age of 123, following an operation. He had hosts of disciples in Bengal, where he spent 80 years of his life. This was his first serious illness.
