LANDING MISHAP AT MANGERE.—Mr. V. Salek, an Auckland Aero Club pilot, examining the damaged propeller after his 'plane had capsized while landing at the aerodrome. The 'plane, showing the damaged wing and rudder, is on the right. Mr. Salek, who was returning from Te Aroha with a passenger, had put the machine into a side-slip to lose height when it stalled and dropped, landing heavily on the wheels. The pilot and passenger were uninjured.
