WOMAN BARRISTER APPEARS. BEAUTY SPECIALIST CASE. (By Telegraph.'—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Wigged, gowned and wearing ft starched white collar as worn by male members of the profession, a lady barrister, Miss Julia M. Dunn, appeared with Mr. H. H. Cornish in a Supreme Court case to-day. Miss Dunn, who lias the degree of Master of LaWs, is a daughter of Mr. Alexander Dunn, Wellington, in whose office she was employed as a law cletk for some years. She was admitted as a barrister and solicitor Of the Supreme Court last year and the degree of Master of Laws was conferred upon her at the Victoria College graduation ceremony recently. MiSs Dunn studied under Mr. Cornish, who occupies the chair of English and New Zealand la\t at Victoria College. The case in Which Miss Dunn appeared to-day was one dealing with the beauty specialist profession, and was a singularly appropriate one for a Woman.
