FOOTWEAR THIEVES.

VISIT TO GREY LYNN FACTORY Thieves broke into the factory of the Murray Shoe Company, at the corner of Mackclvie Street and Crummer Road, Grey Lynn, last night and stole footwear valued at £12. Entrance was gained by removing a pane of glass from a window at the rear of the premises, after the thieves had got into the yard by walking across a vacant section. The factory was left in a state of disorder, many empty shoe boxes being scattered about the floor. It was evident that the intruders had spent a considerable time in the factory making a selection of men's and women's shoes, which they took from the boxes. The office also was ransacked, but no money was found. This is the second occasion within two years that the same factory has been entered and goods stolen.
