OVERSEAS PASSAGES.
JUDGMENT AT HAMILTON. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)' HAMILTON, Tuesday. Holding that plaintiffs were entitled to recover, Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., gave judgment to-day for the amount claimed with costs in the case heard last Tuesday, in -which Misses V. and D. Bi-iggs, of Hamilton (Mr. A. L. Tompkins), sought to recover from Ira Douglas Stewart, clerk, Paterangi (Mr. C. L. MacDiarmid), £10 paid as deposits on two passages to England. The magistrate said the facts were not disputed. It was admitted that the defendant Stewart was the Hamilton manager of Overseas Passages, Ltd., and that the plaintiffs paid him £10 as deposits .on two passages to England.
