CHURCH AT THAMES.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) THAMES, "Wednesday. Good work by all organisations was reported at the annual meeting of parishioners of St. George's Church, the vicar, the Rev. A. G. Dawson, presiding. The balance-sheet showed a falling off in the offertories, but an increase in the donations. The expenses were much lower than in the previous year. The debit balance at the bank was £229. The financial position was better than in the previous year. Officers were elected as follows:— Vicar's warden, Mr. C. H. Poulgrain; people's warden, Mr. A. E. Dews; vestry, Messrs. W. B. Teasdale, T. M. Culpitt, J. A. Bailey, C. R. Cooke, C. W. Berry, W. Johnston, A. J. E. Stanley, H. Cordes, A. Bennett, and H. E. Harden.
