ST. JOHN AMBULANCE.
APPOINTMENTS ANT> AWARDS 1 \ The chicf commissioner of the St. John Ambulance for the Dominion has sanctioned the formation of the Te Aroha Ambulance Division as from January 26. The following appointments have been approved in the Auckland district:—Tc Arolia Division: Wm. S., K. Mills, superintendent; Harold Marsden, secretary. Hamilton: Mervyar Rogers, secretary; Wilson Gibson, storekeeper. Whangarei Y.W.C.A. Nursing;, Mrs. E. : MacKay, secretary. Onehunga Division: Harry T. E. King, corporal. Onehunga Nursing:' Dr. Alfred L. Deß. Noakes, surgeon. Auckland: Edward C. Phipps, treasurer. Huntly Nursing: Mrs. L. Turner, superintendent;' Miss Hilda Dodds, secretary. Gisbome Cadet: Miss D. M. Woodhead, lady- cadet superintendent.. Te Aroha Cadet Ambulance: James Hamilton, superintendent; Arthur E. G. Dunn, officer. Proficiency badges have been approved for the following cadets of the brigade in the Auckland district:—H. St. Gore (Hamilton), A. J; Miller (Auckland), A. R. Hammer and H. J. Manning (Auckland). The badge is issued upon the obtaining of four certificates of proficiency. The boys above-mentioned ' have the honour of being 1 the first in the Dominion to secure .the .cadet proficiency badge; The Auckland centre wishes to thank the anonymous donor of £1 "to help someone 5 ." . - i •
