GENEE'S FAREWELL.
What may prove to be her last performance in public was given by one of the greatest ballet dancers, Madame Adeline Genee, at the Coliseum, states a London paper. - Many people in New Zealand will look back witli great pleasure to the time when, she charmed New Zealanders. Genee, who has cooperated with Sir Oswald St'ill in his presentation of bailet at the Coliseum, was at first to appear only at the opening performance, but in. response to the desires of the public, and in spite of & personal bereavement, she continued throughout the week. Madame Genee, who danced with exquisite grace and charm with Anton Dolin in "The Love Song," was obviously deeply moved by her reception from a packed house.
