Judge's Suicide

Unsound Mind

DEPRESSION /AFTER 'FLU. (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, April 28. ' Suicide while of unsound mind, was tlio verdict at the inquest on Mr. Justice McCardic. His personal clerk gavo evidence' that he had had three attacks of influenza since January 12, and that he had disregarded entreaties to rest, but had recently stayed indoors to recuperate.

He had complained that his temperature frustrated his sleep. Gloom and melancholy had replaced his habitual cheerfulness.
