The directors of the Bank of New Zealand' announce that, subject to audit, they will propose at the annual meeting in Juno that a dividend of 5 per cent for the half-year ended March 31 be paid on ordinary shares, making, with the interim dividend paid in December'last, a distribution of Hi per cent for the year, as compared with 14 1-3 per cent for" the previous year. The dividend on other shareholdings will be in terms of the statutory provision.
