The fact that tlio Prince of Wales .-cut a scarf ho had knitted himself to the Personal League of Service lias caused a good deal of interest. ]Ie is, however, far from being the only celebrated mail who finds relaxation in a pair of knitting needles. Earl Jcllicoe, like many other sailors, is an expert at knitting. Sir Evelyn de la Rue, of the famous printing family, is also an expert knitter. He even invented a special wool-winding machine for his own benutit.
