Auckland, on TUESDAY, the second day of May. 1933, at 10.25 a.m., it is proposed to confirm a resolution passed at a meeting of the Board hold on the 22nd day of April. ]f>3'?, as follows :— "That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in It in that behalf by the Local Bodies Loans Act, 192G, and the Local Authorities' Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act, 102G, and the respective amendments thereof, and of all other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf, with the object of providing relief for unemployment, the Auckland Transport Board doth hereby resolve to raise a Special Loan of £15,000 for the purpose of carrying out certain works for the relief of unemployment, namely, the reconstruction of tram tracks, at a rate of interest not exceeding five per centum per annum, and repayable by annual instalments of not less than £1875, the first instalment to be paid on or before the thirty-first day of March, 1934." Any person having any. objection to the proposed loan is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Auckland Transport Board not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
