EASTERN AND ENGLISH MARKETS.
Mr. Tetzner wishes, or rather suggests that the Amalgamated Dairies should close down, because, after spending many thousands of pounds in endeavouring to establish a worth-while Eastern market, they have not succeeded. One lias to rub one's eyes and wonder why such reasoning is presented. The Amalgamated Dairies, with Mr. Goodfellow's energetic and capable personality behind it, have been forced to suggest to the people of New Zealand that our only worth-while market is at Home, and. Mr. Goodfellow entreats us to do our buying in that quarter. Most Xew Zcalaiiclers of late are doing this— perhaps Mr. Tetzner will also soon see its wisdom. J. 11. BEALE.
