CARRIERS FINED.
BREACHES OF REGULATIONS,

HUNTLY, Friday,
Several charges of breaches of motor and traffic regulations were heard at the Huntly Court to-day. Murdo T. McDonald,- carrier, of Te Akau, and Sidney J. Phillips, carrier, of Tahuna; were fined £3 and £4 respectively for carrying a greater load that the road was classified to carry. Charges of overloaduig were preferred against McDonald and the Felton Transport Company, who were fined £5 and £3 respectively. Security for appeal for the Felton Transport Company was fixed at £10 10/.
Frederick Llewellyn Douglas, carrier, of Te Aroha, for failing to obtain a heavy traffic license, was fined £3.
.Douglas Julian Carter, farmer, of Orini, pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to keep to the left on the Te Hoe road. He was fined £1 and £1 11/9 costs.
