REVUE AND PANTOMIME.
HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. After to-night's final appearance in Auckland of Miss E!ia Shields in The Whirl of the World," Irank £seils vaudeville-revue company will stage the third spectacular show of its return season here, "Hello, Prosperity, in which George Wallace, Billy Maloney, and all the featured players and groups of players seen previously will be present in new and interesting items. This production will be staged for a week, giving place on the following Saturday to a lavish production of that most famous of pantomimes, "Cinderella," which was purchased on a recent visit by Mr. Neil to London. He subseciuently staged it, to record business, in both Sydney ana Melbourne, with Miss Josie Melville singing the name part made famous 30 years before in Melbourne and London by the late Miss Nellie Stewart. Josie Melville will again be the star of the local production, and she will arrive, together with the extensive scenic effects, by the Niagara on Monday. With her will come Sid Beck, a popular comedian of the Australian and New Zealand stage, appearing as the Dame. Mies Dorothy Dewar, a noted pantomime artist, will make her first New Zealand appearance as Dandini. George Wallace will head the comic cast iti the whimsical role of " Buttons." Miriam Lester, the popular soprano of the current revues, will be seen and heard as Prince Charming. While more especially for children, the pantomime will also provide fine entertainment for grown-ups who are still I children at heart. The box plans will open on Wednesday morning at Lewis Eady, Ltd.
