SYDNEY WOOL SALES. SYDNEY, April 26. At the Sydney wool sales to-day 10,949 bales were offered and 10,302 were sold. Also 273 bales were sold privately. The market displayed a hardening tendency with competition animated, especially op Continental and Yorkshire account. Greasy Merino fleece sold to 14d. QUOTATIONS FOR METALS. LONDON, April 25. LONDON TALLOW SALES. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON. April 26. At the tallow sales 837 casks were offered and 534 sold. Good sorts were about 6d cheaper. Low was in better demand at full late rates.
