DARGAVILLE-POUTO ROAD.

The work of continuing the construction of the road from Dargaville to Pouto is again being put in hand. _ A large camp of relief workers is being nstablished at Tangitiki. The road, which is constructed as far as Tangitiki Bay, about 25 miles from Dargaville, will tap a large area of native and Crown land before reaching, Pouto, where there is a belt of very fine country suitable for closer settlement. The road construction works closed; down some eighteen months ago.
