The finals of the Auckland Minor Clubs* Hard Court Association's championship tournament were played on Saturday at Windmill Road courts. Results:—
Ladies' Sincles, A Grade. —Miss A. Gilpin beat Miss M. Hnyhow, 6—3, 3—6. 6—2. Ladies' Singles, B Grade.—Miss V. Gilpin beat Miss M. Sage, B—6. 6—2. Men's Singles. A Grade.—C. F. Paull beat A. Grant, 6—l, 6—4.
Men's Singles, B Grade.—C. Gott beat D. Walker. 4—6, «—O, «—2. Eadies' Doubles, A Grade. —IHss M. Hayhow and Mrs. D. Alklns beat Miss R, Moller and Bliss Menzies, 6—3, S—3 defaulted. Dadtes' Doubles, B Grade.—Miss J. Moller and Miss McCullagh beat Miss Taylor and Miss Hook, 6—3. 6—2. Men's Doubles, A Grade.—E. Young and C. Young heat C. Moller and H. Saunderson, 7—5. 6—3.
Men's Doubles, B Grade.—C Gott and E. Buckler beat J. Johnson and T. Bell, 2—G, 6—2, 6—2. Combined Doubles, A Gratte,—Miss A. Gilnin and C. Young beat Miss K. Moller and C. Moller. 5—7, 6—l, 10—8.
Combined Doubles, B Grade.—Miss McCullagh and D. Walker beat Miss Manning and E. Kayes, 5—7, 6—3, 6—l.
SURFDALE TOURNAMENT
Results of the finals of the annual tennis tournament held at Surfdale during the Easter. holidays:—
Men's Singles.—A. Hooks beat C. Passmore. {50—42, v Ladies' Singles.—Miss E. Passmore beat Mrs. Beck, 33—26.
Men's Doubles.— A.Tetley and Passmore beat P. Hooks and W. Beck, 50—42.
Ladles' Miller and McKinley beat Mrs. Beck and Miss Passmore, 35—23. Combined Doubles.—A. Tetley and Miss Passmore beat W. Mansfield and Mrs. McKinley, 35—29.
