INQUEST DATE UNCERTAIN.

MARINE INQUIRY TO BE HELD. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) NAPIER, this day. Officers of the police force and the Customs Department (representing the Marine Department) spent most of yesterday at the beach where the wreckage of the Mizpah came ashore. An inquest will be held at Porangahau as early as possible, but it will not take place until Mr. Harris is well enough to leave his bed in order to definitely identify the body recovered. A marine inquiry into the wreck of the yacht will also be held. If Mr. Harris, when he leaves Porangahau, passes through Napier, on his return to Auckland, a preliminary inquiry will be held at Napier. Otherwise the preliminary inquiry will probably be held at Auckland when Mr. Han-is returns.
