GOLD PROSPECTING.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. A party of prospectors working at the. head of Tararu Creek discovered an outcrop of reef which gave a good tail of gold in the dish. Portions of stone assayed gave a good return. . It is intended to. drive and intersect' the reef at a lower level. ■ - .. The party consists of Mpssrs. G. .Allington, B. Corless (Hastings), W. Vfyite, T. Morse, J. Robertson (Htmtly).
