Mitchell (deputy-Mayor), the Rev. E. T. Cox, Mr. C. M. Moss and Mr. M. O'Rorke (Communist). • • Twenty-six candidates, including a full citizens' and Labour ticket, are standing for the twelve seats on the City Council. The Labour party is not contesting the Mayoralty. PAHIATUA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PAHIATUA, this day. Mr. J. D. Wilson has been re-elected unopposed as Mayor and also as borough representative on the Tararua Power Board.
