Mr. H. G. Dickie, M.P. for Patea,, is at present in Auckland and is at Hotel Central. Mr. M. H. Wynyard, member of th® Main Highways Board, left for tha South last night by the Limited. Mr. H. H. Sterling, chairman of thi Railways Board, arrived with Mrs. Ster« ling by the Limited this morning. The Hon. Mr. Justice Reed and Mrs* Reed arrived in Auckland by the Limited this morning. The Rev. Father Innocent Doyle, of Adelaide, who has spent a year or more in the Dominion in connection with the Dominican Order, left yesterday by tha Niagara for Sydney. Bishop Lis ton left with Monsignors J* Cahill and W. J. Ormond by the Limited for the South this afternoon to attend the opening of the Marist Brothers novitiate college at Claremont. Mr. J. C. Barton, divisional superintendent of the Great Indian Peninsula* Railway Company, Is visiting the Dominion and intends to spend some time troufc lisliing at Taupo and elsewhere. The Rev. Father M. J. O'Neill, pries# in charge of the social work of tha Roman Catholic Diocese of Auckland, and the Rev. Father J. J. Kelly, parish priest at Helensville, left by the Niagara for Sydney yesterday, en route to Ireland. Mr. G. V. Oldham will retire on April 28 from the management of the Sydney branch of the Union Bank of Australia. At his retirement he will have had tha longest service of any officer of the bank. He has held managerial positions at various branches throughout Australia. Mr. A. W. Griffin, a member of thai staff of Wellington College, who is on 10 months' leave of absence, has reached London, via Suez. After paying visita to various schools in London he will commence a tour of the British Isles. He then intends touring the Continent and while in France he will spend some tima taking a course of study in the French language. Flying-Officer W. D. Denneliy, of the Wellington R.A.F., has been posted to No. 2 Armoured. Car Company, Ramleh, writes an "Evening Post" correspondent. Two other New Zealanders in the Royal Air Force have been gazetted to the following stations: Flying-Officer T. G. Lovell-Gregg to No. 30 B Squadron, Mosul, Iraq; Flying-Officer M. R. Trewby to No. 70 (8.T.) Squadron, Ninaidi, Iraq.
