A public meeting was held at Beachliaven on Thursday, when a committee was formed to support Messrs. E. Sinel and P. Dennen, councillors who are seeking re-election to the Birkenhead Borough Council. Mr. Dennen was in favour of a representative on the Hospital Board from Birkenhead, with a view to bettor facilities for this side of the harbour. Both councillors, were in favour of keeping relief workers at home and doing useful work in the borough.
