NEW GOVERNOR.
CHANGE ,IN TASMANIA. (Received 12 noon.) :, LONDON, April 12. Sir Ernest Clark, late Permanent Secretary to the Government of Northern Ireland, has been appointed Governor of Tasmania, in succession to Sir James O'Grady, who was last year appointed Governor of the Falkland Islands. Sir Ernest visited Australia with an economic mission in 1928-9.
