(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The second day of the Whangarei Racing Club's autumn meeting opened in splendid weather at Kensington Park to-day. There was a fair attendance, and the track was in good order. A Good Finish. Wharepuke, Sub Station, Lady Lucas, and Angie did not parade for the Junior Stakes. Hushing was made a good favourite on both machines. They got away from a fair dispatch. Hushing and My Money began i,>est from The Hiker, Tahae Mea, Armutum, and Musgo. Going across the top Hushing was in command from The Hiker, Armutum, My Money, Tahae Mea, and Musgo. Hushing was first into the straight, followed by My Money, Armutum, Tahae Mea, and The Hiker. In the run to the judge My Money prevailed by half a neck from Musgo, with Hushing a head further back. Golden Sceptre was fourth, followed by Tahae Mea and The Hiker. The rest of the field was well strung out. Foulwind Again. Currajong, Foulwind and Wee Musk were most in demand for the Onerahi Hack Handicap. The first to move out were Roman Mascot and Wee Musk, and as they went along the back the order was Roman Mascot, Escalus, Wee Musk and Substation. Crossing the top the order was Escalus, Roman Mascot, Wee Musk and Landlubber. Escalus was first into the straight, followed by Roman Mascot, Wee Musk, Landlubber and Currajong, with Foulwind next. Once in line, Foulwind challenged and went on to win by a head from Roman Mascot, who beat Wee Musk by a length, and then followed Currajong, Escalus and Landlubber. A Favourite Scores. Snow Prince was the only scratching for the Autumn Handicap and Alloy was installed a good favourite on both machines. Jalldy Karo was also well supported. Jalldy Karo was first out, followed by Alloy and Grand Tea. As they passed, the stands Jalldy Karo was still in front from Motere, Grand Tea and Alloy. Racing along the back Jalldy Karo was going comfortably in front of Motere, Grand Tea, Ornamental and Alloy. There was little change across the top, but entering the straight Jalldy Karo was just ahead of Motere, Grand Tea and Ornamental, racing abreast, with Alloy next. In the run to the judge Alloy came through to win fairly decisively by three-quarters of a length from Jalldy Karo, who beat Grand Tea by a head. Ornamental was fourth, followed by Motere.
