An Italian engineer claims to have invented an apparatus for capturing cosmic rays and putting them to scientific use. He has restored the natural colour to the faded leaves of a plant, and believes that, after further experiments, his apparatus will be able to stop aeroplanes in flight and create rainstorms when desired.
