HIGHEST ON RECORD.
BANK OF ENGLAND'S GOLD. LONDON, April 4. The "Financial News" says the Bank of Jngland's gold holding of £175,031,000 is he highest on record. It follows the purihafle of £1,342,404 worth, the bulk of vhich apparently was Australian, for £1,000,000 arrived on Friday and a further £2,000,000 is coining.
