RUGBY FOOTBALL.

TE AROHA UNION,

The president, Mr. N. Pryde, presided at the annual meeting of the Te Aroha Rugby Union, when delegates from the Hot Springs, Terriers, City, Mauawaru, Elstow, and Public Schools, and members, the number totalling 50, were present. The annual report, read by the president, stated the gate receipts for the past season were £104, against £139 the previous year. The Items of £31 and £23 for entertainment and transport appeared high, but a set off was a refund of £15 received from the Thames Valley Rugby Union, The election of oflicers resulted: —Patron, Hon. C. E. Macmillan, M.P. ; president, left over; vice-presidents, Dr. AV. R. Lawrence, Messrs. .1. A. Hepburn, L. Davies, T. M. Curron, A. D. Jones, G. P. Lindsay; secretary, Mr. C. A. Stuck; treasurer, Mr. 0. Jones; executive committee, Messrs. W. Davies, AV. Pearse, D. G. Meredith, W. Dickson, N. Pryde.
