KEMPTHORNE, PROSSER. PAY ONE HUNDREDTH DIVIDEND. (By Telegraph^—Special ti» "Star.-') DUNEDIN, this day. At the annual meeting of Kempthorne, Prosser New Zealand Drug Company, the chairman said the gross profit at £131,936 showed a decline of £13,432, compared with the previous year, but by instituting rigorous economies general expenses had been reduced by £11,504. Net profit on the year's work was £47,125. to which was added the balance brought forward from laet year, namely, £30,926. A dividend of 4 per c-ent, milking 7% for the year, made the one hundredth dividend paiil by the company since its incorporation. SOUTH BRITISH. USUAL' INTERIM DIVIDEND. At a meeting of directors of the South British Insurance Co., Ltd., held to-day, it was decided to pay on April 13 an interim dividend of 1/4 per share. This is the same rate ae has been paid in recent i years.
