TO-DAY'S SERVICES. NO THROUGH EXPRESS. DAYLIGHT TRAINS TO-MORROW WARNING OF BELAYS. Such is the condition of the subsidence in the permanent -way between Piriaka and Kakahi that railway authorities are still unable to estimate the date of the restoration of the through Main Tnmk passenger service between Auckland and Wellington. In the meantime the transhipment arrangements between Taumarunui and Kakahi will continue, and only one express from each terminal will run daily. Details of the revised time-table were announced to-day. The running of the ordinary 2 p.m. express from Wellington to Auckland will be suspended until further notice. For to-day and to-morrow the 3 p.m. train from Auckland will proceed only as far as Frankton. The Limited expresses to-night will leave Auckland and Wellington respectively at 7 p.m. and 7.15 p.m. For to-morrow only, a daylight Limited express service will be reintroduced. The trains will be dispatched at 8 a.m. from each end, and passengers are advised to expect delays on account of transhipment between Taumarunui and Kakahi. "The early hours of Sunday morning" "will be the anticipated time of arrival in Wellington or Auckland. The Limited expresses on Sundaj' night will run as usual. From the latest advices, indications are that the condition of the track in the damaged section is still most unsatisfactory, but the work of repairing it is being pushed ahead as quickly as possible. With the lines clear of traffic on Sunday, the gangs are expected to have a "field day." The transportation roa-fl Is still in a bad state, although the buses are able to traverse the nine-mile stretch in about three-quarters of an hour. Where Passengers Are. Passengers who .left Wellington for Auckland yesterday were expected to reach Auckland by the express from Taumarunui at 1.30 p.m. to-day, but their arrival was delayed thtrough discovery of a weakness in the track at Poro-o-tarao, about mid-way between Taumarunui ana Te Kuiti. The train had to reduce speed considerably, and it was 2.55 p.m. before the train arrived at Auckland. Gangs were set to work this morning to restore the stability of the line at the vulnerable point. The Limited express which left Auckland last night was due at Wellington at mid-day. The special train from Taumarunui, which picked up the 103 transhipped passengers from the expresses which left Wellington on Wednesday, reached Auckland at 7.45 o'clock last night. The passengers included 12 for the Monowai, the departure of which for Sydney had been delayed for six hours to enable the connection to be made. About 80 bags of mail for dispatch to Australia arrived, the last bag being loaded on the Monowai at 9.10 p.m.
