WANGANUI RISES 25FT. DAMAGE AT HOUSEBOAT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) . WANGANUI, this day. The Wanganui River Services Company advises that tho Retaruke Stream, ■where the houseboat is anchored, rose 2") ft at midnight last'night. The patent slip, laid for overhauling the houseboat, "was destroyed. A message from Pipiriki indicated that the river was in high flood and thousands of tons of driftwood was being carried towards Wanganui.
