MURDER PACT.

TWO FARMERS HANGED. OTTAWA, March 15. Two middle-aged men, each the father of six children, were hanged here for murder. They were French-Canadian farmers,' Laroque and Lavictoire. The men induced a young farm hand, Leo Bergeron, to insure his life in their favour, and collected a double indemnity after his sudden death." At first it appeared as if a bull had gored him to death, but, by clever detective work, the farmers were induced to implicate each other.
