EASING OFF.
AUSTRALIAN BUTTER EXPORTS. Conditions for butter production throughout Australia remain fairly good, but Victoria has experienced a very dry summer, and good rains are required this month to arrest the now rapid shrinkage in butter output. The total shipments to Great Britain from all States from July 1, 1932, to February 25, 1033, amounted to 2.021..590 boxes. For the parallel period of 1931-32, the quantity was 2.472,208 boxes, and for 1930-31, 1,679,064 boxes.
