Reports Show Improvement in Market. HARDENING TENDENCY. Weekly cables received to-day confirm the improved tone on the London market. The weekly official report received from the Press Association reads as follows: — Butter is selling freely. Danish 98/ to 100/ per ewt; choicest salted, New Zealand. 74/ to 75/; Australian, 72/ to 73/; unsalted, 2/ to 4/ premium. Cheese. —New Zealand, white 41/ to 42/ per cwt; coloured, 48/ to 49/; Australian, white 40/ to 41/; coloured, 46/. Merchants' Cables. The following merchants' cables were received this morning:— A.
