ROYAL N.Z. YACHT SQUADRON.

HANDICAP FOR A, B, AND C CLASSES. The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron ■vrill hold a general handicap to-morrow ijttemoon for classes A, B, and C for ViceCommodore B. H. Northcroft's prizes, and a race for the club's 18ft M class.

The big boats will start off the King's •wharf at 2.15 p.m., the course being decided according to the direction of the wind at noon, when the handicaps are declared. No. 1 course, for easterly or westerly winds, will be indicated by code flag C (white pennant), and No. 2 course, for northerly and southerly winds, by code flag D (blue pennant). The Y.R.A. system of starting will be used for the keel class, and the five-flag method for the 51 class.

The entries in the first race are: Ariki, Nga Toa, Waitangi, Prize, Moana, Waione, Ivftdye Wilina, Kotiri, Wairiki, Kotuku, Janet, nnd Mahiki. The M class are: Manene. Manu, Mara ten, Mawhiti, Matarere and Maroro.

The squadron's annual cruising race to Te Kouma for the T. M. Alexander Memorial Cup and miniature takes place on Saturday, MarcH IS.
