COMMITTEE TO INQUIRE.
BRITISH AIR PROPOSALS. (Received 12 noon.) RUGBY, February 17. Following yesterday's discussions on the British air proposals in the General Committee of the Disarmament Conference, a special air committee containing representatives of 18 Powers will begin work on Monday under the chairmanship of Senor Madariaga (Spain). The president of the conference, Mr. Arthur Henderson, expressed the hope that the committee would finish its work in two weeks.
