PRICES AT SMITHFIELD. THE BANK'S REPORT. ' The Bank of New Zealand lias received the following advice from its London office as at the close of business this week:—Wethers: The market is short of supplies and prices are nominal. Ewes: The market is dull. Lambs: Large supplies due shortly are having a weakening effect on the market. Wethers, light 4%d to 5d per lb, heavy 4d to 4%d; ewes, 2%d to 3%d; lambs, twos 7d to 7%d, eights 6%d tp. 6%d, fours 6d to 6%d, seconds 6d to 6%d.
