Ponsonby, thanks to a century by Bob Innea (the rep. Soccer player), is in a strong Hosition against Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys. R.V. is already 54 runs ahead of Invicta and still has eight wickets in hand. S. Guiniven, with 85 to his credit, has ar. excellent chance to notch another century. EDENDALE. The Thursday cricket championship was resumed after the holidays yesterday. United 156 (Gash 23, Thomas 38; Holmwood four for 23) lost to Old Boys 185 (Holmwood 84 : Matthews four for 55). Grocers, batting against High School, were all out for 69 (Angelo 25 ; Jounneaux four for 13), to which their opponents replied with 107 (Ross 32).
