INSPIRING WELCOMES.
VICTORIAN FARMERS' TOUR

HAMILTON, Wednesday.
A busy day Was spent in the district by the 77 Victorian farmers and their wives after their arrival at Hamilton. They were welcpmed by representatives of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral' Association, the New Zealand Farmers' Union and the Combined Breeders' Association, and subsequently visited Ruakura State Farm and the Te Awainutu Co-operative Dairy Company's factory. Acknowledging hospitality, members of the party stated that the warmth of the wekome .everywhere . ( had been inspiring. In addition, they had literally seen farming "from tl;e calf fence to the wrapped butter." The tourists were the guests of the dairy company at afternoon tea before leaving for the Waitomo Caves.
