MAY RESIGN.

Australian Minister of Commerce. SIR HENRY CULLETT'S HEALTH. (Received 12 noon.) CANBERRA, this day. The Minister of Trade and Customs, Sir Henry Gullett, has informed the Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, that he has decided to .seek the opinion of an eminent heart specialist, and if his opinion is unfavourable he will resign from the Cabinet immediately. Mr. Lyons has summoned a Cabinet meeting in Melbourne for January 23. It is expected that if Sir Henry Gullett resigns Mr. Lyons will ask Mr. Stanley Bruce to return from London.
