THIEF IN BUTCHER'S SHOP.

Last night the branch shop of the Auckland Meat Co. at Ellenslie was broken into, the thief gaining entrance by forcing a door at the rear of the shop. Two legs of mutton, valued at 6/, were all that was stolen. .
